TaxDome alternatives: how Glasscubes compares
Glasscubes does one job — getting complete information in from clients, on time — with UK data hosting, AI review of what comes back, and MTD for Income Tax built in. Here is where it beats TaxDome — and where TaxDome is the better buy.

Where Glasscubes is stronger
TaxDome is a capable all-in-one practice management platform. The question is whether you want to move your whole practice onto one system, or keep the tools you already use and fix the part that actually slows work down: chasing clients for information.
Built for the chase, not around it
Request lists, scheduled and recurring requests, automated reminders and real-time reporting across every client are the product, not one module of it. Clients click a link to respond, with no password to remember.
AI that reads what clients send
AI Assist extracts and summarises figures from P60s, dividend vouchers and bank statements, flags what is missing, and drafts the follow-up. TaxDome's AI tags, categorises and renames documents.
UK data, UK pricing, MTD for Income Tax
Data is stored in AWS data centres in the UK, pricing is in sterling, and MTD Assist lets clients send their own quarterly updates. TaxDome says it is not an MTD filing tool and integrates with MTD software instead.
Cheaper for a team
Ten users on Glasscubes Essential cost £240 a month on annual billing. TaxDome's published UK price is £600 per seat per year — £500 a month for ten seats.

What Glasscubes cannot do
Three things worth knowing before you switch, including the cases where TaxDome is the better buy.
-
We are not practice management
No time tracking, no invoicing, no CRM. If you want one system to run the whole practice, TaxDome does that and we do not.
-
The client portal is on our top plan
Information requests, reminders and reporting are on every plan, but the document-storage client portal and white-labelling are on Advantage. TaxDome includes its portal and app in its one plan.
-
A small team pays an account fee
Our pricing is a monthly account fee plus a per-user price, so a solo practitioner pays more than a single TaxDome seat. The arithmetic turns in our favour from about three users.
Worth a look if…
-
Your practice software already works
Keep it, and add Glasscubes for the information chase rather than migrating everything to get a better client request.
-
Personal tax season is the bottleneck
Bulk requests, automatic chasing and AI review of what comes back are built for SA100 season.
-
You want a single system for everything
Choose TaxDome. We would rather say so than sell you half of what you are looking for.
See it on your own client list
Bring a real request list and we will build it with you on the call. No annual commitment.
