PBC request lists for UK audit firms
What is a PBC list, and can Glasscubes run it?
A PBC ("prepared by client") list is the set of documents and information an audit team asks the client for. Glasscubes runs it as an information request: each item on the list is tracked, the client uploads or answers against it, and the whole team sees what is still outstanding.
Can clients see exactly what is outstanding?
Yes. Clients see precisely what is still needed, and the audit team gets one view of every request and response, so nothing is sent piecemeal to different people.
Does it chase overdue PBC items?
Yes. Reminders go out by email, and by text if you switch it on, before and after the due date, and stop once the client has completed the request. How automatic reminders work.
Can we reuse last year's PBC list?
Yes. Save a list as a request template and send it again next year, or schedule it as a recurring request.
Do clients need a login?
No. Each request has its own secure link, so clients upload and answer without creating an account or remembering a password. For sensitive requests you can add a one-time code sent by email or text. How upload links work.
Where is audit evidence held?
In the UK. All data is synchronised and stored in at least three separate locations, miles apart and all in the UK. Glasscubes is ISO/IEC 27001 certified by CfA, a UKAS-accredited body, and Cyber Essentials certified by IASME. See our security page.
How much would a six-person audit team pay?
