Glasscubes vs FileInvite

FileInvite alternatives for UK accountants: how Glasscubes compares

Glasscubes is built for UK accounting firms: published pricing from £96 a month, UK data hosting, AI that reads client tax documents and MTD for Income Tax. FileInvite's current site describes document collection for commercial and complex lenders. Here is where Glasscubes fits an accountancy practice better — and where FileInvite is the better buy.

Where Glasscubes is stronger

FileInvite is a focused document collection platform, and it often turns up beside Content Snare in lists for accountants. On 2 November 2026 its home page and pricing page were written for lenders and did not mention accountants. For an accountancy firm, the question is whether a lending tool is the right place to start.

01

Built for accountants

Requests, reminders and AI review are designed around accountancy work: personal tax, accounts, payroll and audit lists. FileInvite describes its platform as designed for commercial and complex lending.

02

Pricing you can read, in pounds

Published from £96 a month plus £14.40 per user on annual billing. FileInvite publishes USD $9,900 a year as its starting price for lenders processing up to 100 commercial loans a year, with Enterprise on quote, so its price follows loan volume rather than users.

03

UK data, and AI for tax documents

Data is stored in AWS data centres in the UK. AI Assist extracts figures from P60s, dividend vouchers and bank statements and flags what is missing. FileInvite's AI matches incoming documents to the loan request.

04

MTD for Income Tax

MTD Assist lets clients send their own quarterly updates while the tax return stays with your firm. It is on HMRC's list of compatible software.

Straight about the limits

Where FileInvite is the better buy

Three things worth knowing before you switch, including the cases where FileInvite is the better buy.

  • We do not build for lending

FileInvite has loan templates, multi-party collaboration and loan servicing, and works with loan origination systems. If you are a lender, that is what you need and it is not what we make.

  • Its integrations are listed

FileInvite lists sync to OneDrive for Business, Google Drive and Box on its plans, and SharePoint, workflow integrations and an API on Enterprise. If syncing collected files to those stores matters, ask us about it on a demo.

  • It says it is SOC 2 Type II compliant

Our certifications are ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. If a client's procurement asks for SOC 2 Type II specifically, ask us before you shortlist.

Worth a look if…

  • You are a UK accountancy practice

Use a tool built for tax, accounts, payroll and audit requests, in pounds and with UK data.

  • FileInvite came up on a list of collection tools

Check that it fits first, because its own site describes lending. To compare Glasscubes with a collection tool for accountants, see Glasscubes vs Content Snare.

  • You are a lender

Choose FileInvite. It is built for commercial and complex lending, and we are not.
