After several reviews regarding personal security and file security, combined with many user requests we have finally introduced individual file preferences within Glasscubes document management system.

Timezones

At Glasscubes we are delighted with this new feature, having people involved in the US, UK and mainland Europe - spanning three time zones. In Glasscubes you can now change the time zone for your profile (not affecting anybody else).

So the volcano Eyjaf-whats-it-thingame-jig-kull is still spewing ash all over Europe and heading towards Canada as I type. All planes are still grounded and untold business men and woman are either stuck in a hotel twidderling their collective thumbs or sitting at their desk worrying about the fact they where meant to be working with a new client that they where flying out to last week.

Until now, getting notified about activities within your Glasscubes account was left to email and SMS. However we have now implemented RSS feeds into your account which provides you with a way of being updated as soon as something happens in your account.

Well, for the many thousands of you who love using folders and find folders much more usable than labels, we've gone some good news. You can now create folders within your workspaces in Glasscubes.

For a while now, reading your calendars and see which event was related to which calendar has been a little frustrating within Glasscubes as you've had no control over the colour of the calendar.

As many of you may be aware, we finally launched the new look Glasscubes over the weekend.

This time last year I would have had to trundle into London, scarf donned, gloves firmly in place and moaning well and truly underway. In fact, in February I did have to and my oh my was it horrific.

Notice: As of April 2016 Glasscubes no longer supports editing Powerpoint/Open Office Document within the web browser unless you subscribe to Office 365.  

We don't believe in subdirectories. We feel that they actively encourage multiple versions of documents to exist in different locations and force a user to decide where it should go, which may be a different location to where someone else might choose to look or put it.
